Schola Projects is a Research and Development studio with a focus on soft goods, outdoor performance, and lifestyle products. Schola Project’s expertise provides a bridge from new product need to production hand-off through meaningful research and detail driven design.
Who We Are
Schola Projects is owned and operated by Daniel Skaff, a product designer with over ten years of experience in soft goods design and qualitative research. He has held design positions at Thule, Descente, and Neve Designs and worked closely with other international outdoor brands.

Schola Projects is built on a foundation of environmentalism, creativity, and learning. We at Schola believe that the most meaningful learning experiences arise during periods of earned rest. Cold beers after a long climb, a lunch break during a hike or bike ride. These are the periods of rest that produce the most creative and insightful thoughts we have as humans. It’s like the ah-ha moment in the shower but turned up to 11.
